Does the service fee include a tip for the delivery driver or event staff?
No, it does not. Our 21% service fee includes set up, tear down, linens, all eating ware, gas, labor…etc.
How long does a buffet set up take?
For groups of 80 or more, we give our delivery driver at least an hour to set up depending on the group size and the amount of food ordered. For groups of 80 guests or less it usually takes between 30-45 minutes depending on the amount of food ordered.
What dietary restrictions/requests can you accommodate?
We can accommodate most any dietary restrictions besides Kosher and halal meals. However, Elizabeth’s kitchen is not a gluten-free facility. We can accommodate requested gluten-free meals, but we do have glutenous ingredients present in the building.
Do you provide disposable goods?
Yes! Disposable goods (plates, cup, napkins…etc.) are included in accordance with your order. We can even provide eco-friendly options for an additional fee.
How far out do I need to give notice for catering?
For corporate and private events, we ask for at least 7 business days to finalize a quote. For weddings we ask for 3 months or longer to give us time to help you plan your special day.
How far does Elizabeth’s deliver?
Deliveries within a 30 mile radius of our location (1645 W 2200 S, Salt Lake City) are a standard for us. We are able to cater meals up to 60 miles away from our facility, but an additional mileage charge will be added.
Do you provide buffet linens?
Yes, we do. Buffet linens are included when buffet catering services are reserved. We can also help order your guest tablecloths through Diamond Specialty Linens and bring them to the event for you.
How long does it take to get a quote back once I fill out the inquiry form?
Our team strives to give each client a reply within 24 hours of the initial inquiry (with the exception of a quote request over the weekend).
Sales Policies & Minimums
- $200 deposit required for orders over $500 to reserve your catering service.
- Weekend Order Minimum: $1,000
- Weekday Order Minimum: $300 before 4pm and $500 after 4pm.
- Pick-up service available for orders $100+.
